So our school year is quickly coming to an end: Our magazine, On the Danforth, had a successful launch last Wednesday at Myth, a bar/venue near our school; assignments are wrapping up, our group work is becoming tedious, and all of us are just keen to start our internships so that we can finally graduate and track down some jobs.
So, with homework quickly becoming a thing of the past, my mind has been drifting to the lovely virtual world of Azeroth and my beloved World of Warcraft, which I have wisely been neglecting for the past year or year and a half or thereabouts. I gave it up because it was eating up way more of my time than it ought to have – but I was having a good time and a few laughs. I’d been clean for however long, and then it just started tugging at me again. Cynthia said that this was a normal step in fighting addiction – you come around to it again, swear it off, and come back for a lil more. I love how WoW has sort of worked it’s way into not only popular culture, but just about everywhere – didn’t a director or someone who won an Oscar admit to being a guild leader in WoW?
